2. What we send
If you are an active AskCalvin subscriber, you'll receive text messages at the phone number you provided during sign-up. Messages fall into these categories:
- Meeting reminders (T-10, T-5, and T-1 minutes before configured calls)
- Daily morning briefings (your local 9 AM, only if enabled)
- End-of-day wrap-ups (your local 6 PM, only if enabled)
- Weekly calendar audit prompts (Friday midday, only if enabled)
- Calendar change notifications when an event you care about moves
- Replies to questions you texted Calvin
- A welcome message after sign-up
All proactive messages are individually toggleable in your dashboard at app.askcalvin.ai/dashboard/settings.
3. How you opt in
Opt-in is web-based and explicit. There are two ways to enroll, both of which require you to enter your phone number on a public page on askcalvin.ai:
Option A: Direct sign-up on this page. Use the sign-up form above. Enter your phone number and email, check the consent box, and submit. You'll receive a welcome SMS at the number provided and a follow-up email with a link to connect your Google Calendar.
Option B: Apply for full Calvin access. Submit an application at https://askcalvin.ai/request-access. The form requires your phone number and includes the SMS-consent box. If accepted, you'll receive a welcome email confirming SMS program enrollment plus a one-click Google authorization link, and you complete setup at https://app.askcalvin.ai. Option B unlocks the full Calvin product (calendar, email, memory, briefings); Option A is SMS-only.
4. Sample messages
These are representative of messages a subscriber receives. Variable details such as names, times, and event titles are populated from the subscriber's own calendar.
- Reminder: your call with Sarah Chen starts in 10 minutes. Dial-in is in the calendar invite.
- Good morning. 3 events today: 9 AM Strategy review, 11 AM Product sync (Dovi), 2 PM with Henry K. Top inbox: legal flagged the Q2 contract for review. 2 open promises older than 5 days.
- Heads up, calendar update: your 3 PM with Tom Kim moved to 4 PM tomorrow. Travel time stays the same.
- Yes, Justin Abramovich is on for Thursday 2 PM at the office. I just confirmed the room. Anything else you need before then?
- EOD wrap for Wed: 4 meetings completed. Open: send Q1 deck to Sarah Chen (3 days). Tomorrow 9 AM: Board prep. Anything to file before signing off?
5. Stop receiving messages
- Reply STOP to any AskCalvin message. You'll get a one-time confirmation, then no further messages.
- Equivalent keywords also opt you out: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE.
- Reply START to resubscribe at any time.

7. Carriers and rates
- Supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. AskCalvin does not bill you for the messages themselves.
